Quantum Physics and Theology

Every now and then I see a new book and just salivate--metaphorically speaking. One such book is here:

Quantum Physics and Theology: An Unexpected Kinship

By: John Polkinghorne
Yale University Press / 2007 / Hardcover

Truth-seeking in science and theology are not that different, says Polkinghorne, who discerns similarities between the perplexities in quantum physics and the problem of evil; the drive for a unified theory and Trinitarian theology; the way quantum theories and Christological controversies emerged historically. 128 pages, hardcover. Yale University.

Quantum physics is very interesting field in that at looks at what I consider the spiritual realm and the unknown possibilites...should be a good read.

I like your way of thinking. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who "salivates" over just the very IDEAS a book offers in its TITLE! I just have to laugh at how excited I can get about books I've never read! This particular book is very much in keeping with ideas I've had. Everyday in physics class I would think of parallels to the spiritual life and I think Stephen Hawking (among others) provides rich fodder for gospel reminiscences.
