Islam: The Most Logical Religion

As always, important to understand how Muslims see their own religion and carefully consider their claims:

As it is seen, despite Christian propagation efforts, Christianity is weakening, but our modest books are being approved of all over the world. Do you think there is a reason for this? The reason is obvious: The religion of Islam is the most civilized, the most logical, and the truest religion. When a man who is educated and impartial reads our books describing Islam clearly, he becomes a Muslim; he sees that Islam is the final religion and in conformity with modern scientific principles. There are no myths in it. Muslims believe in one Allah, not a formation of three, as in the Trinity, which is an unbelievable dogma. If examined carefully, it will be seen that the fundamentals of the religions which require human beings to believe in only "One Allah" are identical. Whenever a true religion was corrupted, Allahu ta'ala sent a new Prophet to correct it, and the last of the true religions is Islam, the most logical and the most modern one. A comparison between Islam and Christianity was made by an Islamic scholar, Ishaq Effendi, which reveals that the fundamentals of faith in these two religions are the same, but Christianity was corrupted by the Jews and priests.

In this book another important section concerns the comparison between the moral principles of Islam and Christianity. If you examine this section carefully, you will see that the same things are demanded, in the same way, by these two religions and that they both give the same instructions to humanity. Today, if a Christian man believed in "One Allah" instead of the "Trinity," and that Muhammad ('alaihi 's-salam) is the final Prophet, he would become a complete Muslim. [As a matter of fact, the dogma called "Trinity" in Christianity is rejected by highly intellectual Christians, and they try to interpret it evasively so that they believe in one Allah.] A lot of Christians have already become Muslim after seeing this truth. Their names can be seen in our book entitled Why They Converted to Islam?

The food of the spirit is religion. An atheist is like a man without a head. Just as it is necessary for a body to take breath, to eat and drink, similarly, the spirit is in need of religion so that it will be noble, pure and peaceful. There is no difference between an atheist and a machine or an animal. There is no greater means than religion to enable a man to know Allah; to prevent him from doing evil things; to guide him; to cause him to have intellectual peace; to console him in hard times; to give him power, material or moral; to make him gain respect, honor, prestige, and friendship in a society; and to protect him from the Hell-fire, which is eternal.

Unfortunately, in the hands of unscrupulous and treacherous men, religion has frequently been used only to perpetuate self interest. Whereas, in truth, religion is the only way of knowing Allahu ta'ala and of obtaining His mercy.

We are of the opinion that when you read this book you will have seen that all the religions were originally the same; every religion was replaced with a new one by Allahu ta'ala over different periods of time. Whenever a religion became corrupt Allahu ta'ala sent Prophets ('alaihimu's-salam) to make corrections in it; hence, the final religion is the one brought by Muhammad ('alaihi 's-salam). We hope that your faith will be strengthened, and thus, you will embrace the religion of Islam, which is the best source of moral guidance, virtue, energy, and courage. We pray that you will only use it to be a man with a pure and noble spirit, and that you will also use it to attain endless bliss by obeying the commandments and the prohibitions of Allahu ta'ala. Afterwards, we know that you will prevent it from being used for other causes, such as position-hunting or for other materialistic purposes.

In Africa, Islam is spreading fast - not through the use of financial and material means and influence; Islam is spreading because many Africans see that they can easily relate to it. Same in Russia; Islam is fast growing there because of the same reason.

I would have to ask if this nobility and pureness would make one question some of the very fabric that the Islamic community stands upon (ex: some Quranic pasages) or call into question various morals that need to be challenged (ex: beheadings). If not, then this faith would be of no use to me ethically or culturally.

My question--if Allah sends prophets every time religion goes awry, why didn't he send prophets to the Buddhist and Hindu cultures? Also, God did send prophets to the Jews all through the Old Testament, especially at times when the nation of Israel had wandered off the path. What I don't understand is the fact that Allah would send prophets to the line of Isaac, not Ishmael, if He wanted to send a message to the world. The way I see it is that the Quranic revelations were so different from that of earlier revelations that it could not be of the same line. What do you think?

Or also, why doesn't Allah send more prophets to help clean up some of the mistakes of the Islamic religion as of 'right now'?

I agree with Islam being the most logical religion but as far as textbooks of the Qu'ran being distributed, you can thank Saudi Arabia for the massive printing of a misinterpreted and and controversial version of the Qu'ran. The Saudi mass produced and distributed version of the Qu'ran is largely responsible for today's misconception of Prophet Mohammed's original intentions.

I am sorry but I have to disagree that Islam is the most logical religion. Religion in and of itself requires people to disreguard logic, and move foward with faith. I had considered converting to Islam after I married a Muslim man and heard these beautiful ideas of what Islam is. Unfortunately, through my studies and conversations, my logic tells me that I can not comform to these ideas. Whenever I have a question about what I perceive to be a possible contradiction it is either answered with a question, I am told that it is an incorrect translation, they point to contradiction in Christianity (I suppose to show all religion contains contradictions), or simply that it is wrong to question the Quran and the Prophet. Nevertheless, there is no answer. I have read that the official doctrine is that if one percieves a contradiction that the later sura is what is to be followed, but why would God contradict himself? How could the prophet give a message from God that contradicted the messages he gave to the Jews and Christians, when Muslims also believe that God would not ever give a contradictory message? Now, the Muslims will say that the Prophet was told man has corrupted the texts for whatever reason, but discovery of near original text (ie the Dead Sea Scrolls and others) that are identical to current Gospels showing that they have not been altered. I believe that God has given me a brain complete with logic and reason and without using these gifts I would be dishonoring him.

Islam is no more logical than any religion. There is no god. Get over it.

Islam is the most logical religion. End of discussion. If you tried reading the Qura'am, you would know the reason.

why should such clever intelectual people argue since you have separated brains and mids then just go over a bible and read it have enough time don't let the church to explain to you or the priest after that take a coran and read it and don't let a mosque to explain to you and test your brian about claiming what you have just learnt from others. be honest with your self because the question of religion and faith is not to plaese your parents or the church but to please and save your soul.

for me i did the same thing and Allah soubhanaho wataala showed me the right way, before i used to waste time arguing but once i decided to storp that and look for my self it done.

if you did read the Quoran you wouldn't ask such a question the quoran is for all the people not just muslims, the reason is that people who do convert to islam practice islam more wisely and properly while some muslims forgooooooot that they are muslims that to see deeply that if God make you jew or buddist or whatever doesn't mean that he will not show you the right way. be a good person in manners and morals and ask GOD to lead you to the true path.

do you know any part in the world where there is no muslim ?? so people they know but they don't want to submit

The Quran teaches that Torah (called “Tourat” in Arabic) is the word of ha-Sheim (the Creator). It teaches it has been redacted, but there are no proofs of that statement. It teaches to follow Mosheh (called “Mousa” in Quran), so it is important to know that according to Torah, Mosheh taught that one should follow the mitzwot (commandments) in Torah, including not eating shellfish; and that one should keep Shabat (including not working on Shabat). A perfect Creator implies He does not change.

According to formal logic the burden of proof is on the person making the statement, without any proofs whatsoever, that Torah has been redacted.
Formal logical rules: You can not assume that the Quran origins from the Creator. Such a statement must be proven using formal logic.

@Above Comment, I still pray Allah (swt) guides you back. You follow a religion that goes by a book with so many different versions, by a book that has been altered many times, a book that was formed nearly 300 years after Jesus Christ. And book that has many contradictions and strong emphasis on alot of blind faith. You also say that you "know Islam", you clearly do not. You've had a negative influence or want to go to a easier religion or your family or the imam's you followed twisted Islam with their own cultural differences, causing you to misunderstand and misinterpret the true beauty of this wonderful religion.

To all the Ummah that has even a seed of doubt about Islam, I strongly urge you to research and look for the answer to clear this doubt. Find a good proper scholar or a good resourceful website and I promise you there will not be a question that won't have a good logical answer to it.

I learn new things about my Religion every day, I hear people say bad things and then immediatly research it and find the answer and Mashallah, my love for my religion grows even further and makes me realise just how twisted the non-believers have it of us and how they use propoganda to spread negative influence. May Allah (swt) show his mercy to those who purposly go astray.

@Anonymous "that it is wrong to question the Quran and the Prophet". No one with the right Islamic knowledge will reply to you like that. And also, unless you know Arabic, how can you be the judge of what's a mistranslation or not?

Only have few things to say about this. In this world, only have 2 types of people which are good people and bad people. This people can be whatever religion. So, if u want to study any religion, just study it with a correct teacher or books. Please don't judge a religion bcoz of someone is a bad pwrson, doesn't mean that that person's religion is bad. Please go do research about all religion and see which one is most logic. For exp, I'm a muslim but I'm a bad person, I steal, I murder, I'm a drug dealer or whatever, it doesn't mean that muslim is bad. The bad one is me. Not Islam. So dont confuse
