Erik Twist, Part 5, individual interpretation

From Part 5 of Why Catholic?

A juicy chunk:

When someone states that the Bible is their only authority they are (consciously or unconsciously) actually stating that they themselves are their only authority. Nowhere and at no time is the Bible ever read by any individual with pure clarity. Interpretation abounds and at no point does the individual have access to a "perfect reading."
