Who's who in Early Church History?
Take the test, it's short and fun. I scored eight out of ten. And you?
Although St. Ignatius of Antioch was given as a choice on at least one of the questions, there should have been a question where he was the correct answer.
I missed the first two. I know about Ignatius and Polycarp, but I had no idea any of them made such a speech at their death (Indeed, I have read Ignatius' epistles and the remark seems unlike him, but...)
Then I missed #9, about the woman who knew Jerome (But, hey, that doesn't count since she is not a Church Father!)
And really, are we at all surprised that the Orthodox guy got a perfect score? (j/k Fr. Greg! And I agree, the questions were a bit tricky and I think person could know quite a bit about the Church Fathers and get many answers wrong here. Of course, that's a self-serving comment at ths point...)
4 out of 10 :-( Good think I asked for William Jurgens "Faith of the Early Fathers" for Christmas. Of course I did so to my Father-in-Law who thinks he is wiser than the early fathers. (wish I was kidding)

I am shocked - I had only 6 out of 10...
I made a 9 out of 10...missed the first one.
7/10
10/10.
So who missed what (besides Don, that is)?

I got a 7. Better than I thought I would. Hardly my area of specialty, and it's been a while!
